【摘要】:ThisenginelubricanttestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheRollerFollowerWearTest.Itsprimaryresult,rollerfollowershaftwearinthehydraulicvalvelifterassembly,hasbeencorrelatedwithvehiclesusedinstop-and-godeliveryservicepriorto1993.ItisoneofthetestmethodsrequiredtoevaluatelubricantsintendedtosatisfytheAPICG-4performancecategory.Thistesthasalsobeenreferredtoasthe6.2LTest.Thevaluesofunitsusedinthistestmethodarestatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsandaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
