【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverswaterwellcasingpipeandcouplingsmadefromthermoplasticmaterialsinstandarddimensionratios(SDR),SCH40andSCH80.1.2Specificationsareprovidedfortheapplicationofthesematerialstowaterwellandgroundwatermonitoringapplications.Flushthreadedjointsystemsareincludedforscreenandcasingusedprimarilyintheconstructionofgroundwatermonitoringwells(seePracticeD5092).1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonlyIEEE/ASTMSI10).Note18212;Certainfieldconditionsmayrequirealternativematerialstoensuresafelong-termuse.Theusershouldconsultfederal,state,andlocalcodesgoverningtheuseofthermoplasticmaterialsforwellcasingormonitorpipe.Note28212;Thisstandardspecifiesdimensional,performanceandtestrequirementsforplumbingandfluidhandlingapplications,butdoesnotaddressventingofcombustiongases.1.4AlthoughthepipesizesandSDRvalueslistedinthisspecificationaregenerallyavailable,numerousotherplasticpipesinSchedule40and80wall,otherSDRvaluesandvariousoutsidediametershavebeenusedforwellcasing.SuchproductsareoftenselectedbecausetheyfulfillcertainneedsandincludesalistofthesePlasticPipeWellCasingSpecials.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
